Bicycles are allowed on the designated national seashore bike trails, on paved roads and parking areas, and on unpaved roadways (fire roads). Bicycles are not permitted on hiking trails or on beaches.
This 5.5 mile trail loops around the Province Lands, passing through pine forests, sandy dunes, and low-lying cranberry bogs. There are connections to both Herring Cove and Race Point beaches, as well as Bennett Pond.
This 2 mile bike trail connects the dirt parking lot at High Head Road to Head of the Meadow Beach.
This 1.6 mile paved bike path connects the Salt Pond Visitor Center, Doane Picnic Area, and Coast Guard Beach.

April, May, June, September, and October – Cancel anytime 7 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival are subject to a cancellation processing fee of $25.
July and August – You must cancel 21 days before the date of arrival, or you will forfeit your deposit plus a cancellation processing fee of $25.

Breakwater Hotel welcomes you and your dog for an additional $40 per dog per night (plus applicable taxes). Please call the hotel directly to register your dog in advance. Service Animals must register with the hotel; however, there is no additional fee.
